Office building, wedge-shaped

On photographs from the early 20th century there were no windows, door or clock in the narrow front of Spiegelgracht 31. It was a blind wall with a door sunk into the basement. The house clearly has its main entrance on the Lijnbaansgracht, with an elegant stairway to the front door. Later Spiegelgracht 31 received  a similar facade and stairway. Nowadays model agency Moeder Anne has an office in the building. In early days it was an unsightly wall, now it is a building that asks to be seen.
